What is TerciCare? TerciCare is an extra measure of care from the people who bring you Increlex
Because this is a new treatment option, health
insurance policies may not be in place, possibly making
reimbursement a challenge. That's why TerciCare is here—to facilitate the exchange of information between you, your
physician's office, and your health insurance company.
You and your physician may have already filled out a form called the Statement of Medical Necessity (SMN).
This is the first step in supplying your insurance
carrier with the information needed to start the
reimbursement process. Your doctor's office
may also fax your child's growth charts and lab results
to TerciCare so that we can start working for you to:
- Quickly provide Increlex therapy and supplies, including, if appropriate, a starter kit and free 30-day supply
- Help coordinate health insurance coverage and
reimbursement matters
- Keep you informed of your coverage status
- Answer any and all questions you may have
about TerciCare
You have your own personal TerciCareSM case manager.
We've assigned a TerciCare insurance specialist to investigate the maximum health benefits that your insurance carrier will allow. We will also research and inform you what your copay/deductible amounts will be. Your TerciCare case manager will keep you informed throughout the process of obtaining reimbursement, so that you dont have to worry about making follow-up calls to your insurance carrier.
You and your child's best interests are our primary focus at TerciCare.
We help you navigate many insurance hassles and keep you and your doctor's office informed of your insurance reimbursement status.
If there is a delay in your insurance company's response, we've got you covered with Starter Care.
We'll ship your free patient starter kit, where appropriate, which includes the first 30-day dosage of Increlex®, so that your child can start treatment as soon as possible.
If your health insurance carrier or coverage should change for any reason, your TerciCare case manager will take care of your transition to new coverage for you.
The same process we navigated for you at the start of treatment, we'll initiate again with your new carrier. With the Starter Care back-up feature, there should be no disruption in your child's ongoing Increlex treatment.
If you do not have insurance coverage or Medicaid and cannot afford to pay for your child's Increlex treatments, we may be able to help.
For families who lack insurance coverage and cannot pay for treatment out of pocket, we can link you up with an organization that may be able to provide the assistance you need.
Reach your TerciCare case manager by calling 1-866-TERCICA (1-866-837-2422) and pressing option #3.
